Rubber Grinding

Crumb Rubber can be ground in several ways.

The first method is ambient grinding where the rubber is ground by a machine.

The Second method is cryogenic grinding where the rubber is frozen by the use of nitrogen and rubber is ground. The limitation on the mesh size which makes it difficult to go beyond 100 mesh.

The third process is wet grinding and is slower than either ambient or cryogenic grinding. the advantage is the rubber can be ground to 300 mesh. The smaller mesh size of the rubber makes it easier use in many rubber compounds.
